Happy Birthday Annie!

     Today I was invited to a birthday party as the "date" of my dog.  Now, he didn't ask me out.  He's a lot smoother than that.  No, I actually received a birthday invitation to "Cooper and...." (plus one).  Of course I didn't realize that I was being invited in order to bring him over----but it all became clear when we rung the doorbell and he was whisked away, while I was left standing in the foyer.  I admit it....he IS the life of the party and that's just the way it is.  He's an adorable  brown and white Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and I'm, well, I'm Cooper's date.
